Built in 1942-1943, the American Standard Watch Case Company Plant is a large, one-story brick factory whose entrance is embellished with simple art moderne detailing. The firm, incorporated in 1920 and formerly housed in rented quarters on Sprague Street, has been the American Standard Division of the Bulova Watch Company since 1948.
