One of Providence’s very few cast-iron-facade buildings, this was constructed as the headquarters for an insurance company. The use of cast iron conveyed the concept of safety, an important image for the for the firm’s business. Local architects Walker & Gould provided the design, and the facade was fabricated locally by Builders Iron Foundry
