This is the largest of Providence’s early twentieth-century apartment buildings, designed, like many, by Frank W. Woods. Conveniently located on one of the city’s most frequently traveled public transportation routes, it principally accommodated the newly married, single professionals, and the retired. Since the mid-1970s it has been a college dormitory.
