In business for more than eighty years, this remarkably intact bakery probably acquired its Art Deco storefront and interior around the time that Luigi Scialo changed its name from Sunshine Bakery to Scialo Brothers. Mouth-watering confections fill the display windows, and long lines extend out the door on weekend mornings at this Federal Hill standby.

Update: In September 2020 it was announced that Scialo Brothers Bakery would close after 104 years in business.
