Strung along the crest of College Hill, the houses featured include two then-remote early houses as well as defining examples of Providence’s first-rate mid and late 19th century domestic architectural heritage. Providence strongly embraced the Greek Revival and the Italianate, and houses featured on this tour amply demonstrate the vigor of that affection.
